Stories have always been my passion, and I've been telling them, in one form or another, for as long as I can remember.
Thrillers, police dramas and crime fiction fascinate me, and I enjoy the twist in the tale that these books, films and TV shows provide.
But it was shows like True Detective Season 1, and the film Seven that inspired me to write my own take on the Crime Genre.
That all began with the DC O'Connell trilogy, set in Surrey where I currently live with my wife and children. It continued with the DCI Pilgrim series which follow on from the O'Connell books, and feature DCI Jon Pilgrim as he moves to Surrey from Nottinghamshire, much like I did.
More recently I've started the Detective Loxley series, which is based in the county of Nottinghamshire, where I grew up, and I'm very much enjoying exploring the counties darker side.
